Plain English summary: Use TAGSCO to design and order custom novelty plates and merch. Don't use the service for illegal, abusive, or hateful content. Purchases happen on Zazzle — their terms also apply to your order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using tagsco.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

2. About TAGSCO

Tags Co. ("TAGSCO") is a custom vanity license plate and merchandise design service operated by Spacedust, Albuquerque, New Mexico. TAGSCO provides a plate design tool and connects your design to Zazzle, a third-party print-on-demand fulfillment platform. TAGSCO is not a product retailer — all product sales, payments, and fulfillment are handled by Zazzle.

3. Use of the Service

You may use TAGSCO to design novelty license plates and merchandise for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the restrictions below. You agree not to:

Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Include hate speech, slurs, or content targeting protected groups
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
Use the service to create fraudulent or deceptive products
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
Use automated tools to generate plate designs at scale without written permission

TAGSCO reserves the right to refuse service and block access to anyone violating these terms.

4. Novelty Products — Not Street Legal

All products available through TAGSCO are decorative novelty items only. They are not registered vehicle license plates and cannot legally be displayed on any vehicle on public roads in any US state or territory. Using a novelty plate on a motor vehicle is illegal and carries significant fines. By using TAGSCO, you acknowledge and agree that you will use products only as decorative, gift, or collectible items.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of any original text you create (your vanity tag text). By submitting it through our service, you grant TAGSCO a non-exclusive license to display it in the plate designer and pass it to Zazzle for fulfillment.

TAGSCO content: All plate artwork, design templates, website code, graphics, and branding are owned by Tags Co. / Spacedust and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

State imagery: State flag imagery and plate design elements are based on publicly available official state materials. TAGSCO plate designs are original interpretations and are not official government products.

6. Third-Party Fulfillment (Zazzle)

When you click "Order This" on TAGSCO, you are redirected to Zazzle.com to complete your purchase. Zazzle is an independent third-party platform. Your transaction with Zazzle is governed by Zazzle's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. TAGSCO is not responsible for Zazzle's products, pricing, shipping times, or disputes arising from Zazzle transactions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TAGSCO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TAGSCO AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed $10 USD.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
